Hubert Poole
June 27, 2015Steve; Some time in the past 12 months I mentioned that I have recordings from the only extant Wurlitzer Style 216 left in the “WORLD” intact in it’s original location. Opus 1850. It took me two years to get it back up and playing as a 2/10 style 216. This recording is from 1/24/1988, b/4 its general downfall, until i rescued it. The C/D eluded me all this time. I finally found it. It was upside down in a 1 side c/d storage case. The artistes are John Brown, who I don’t know. The other is Don Jon Vaughn, who I know, of the La Serra college and 7th Day Adventist church fame of Riverside CA. I am attempting to contact him to release his permission for performances to you. I will keep you informed. Hubert Poole Riverside CA. USA.
