“Joy to the word” is indeed the correct name. First line is “Jeremiah was a bullfrog” Songwriter is Hoyt Axton, and it was released in 1970. I absolutely love your show and I’m sorry to have troubled you if you have already received the information about the tune.

  2. Stephen Ashley

Many thanks, James, for that information. I’ve now corrected my library entry as well as the show playlists. The title was noted as “Joy to World”, which was the reason why I wasn’t able to find any information about it on the Web. As I note in the show, incorrect titles are an ongoing problem, and not just on concert material. Some commercially released organ albums have had, and indeed continue to have, incorrect or incomplete song titles!
