What a delight and blessing to hear Bob Ralston. I never knew this side of his career as a theater organist.
My dad bought me a Ralston vinyl years ago with the theme song of “Have You Looked Into Your Heart?” Mid-60’s. We enjoy seeing him and the Welk family on PBS still on Sundays in our area. Thank you Steve, great job.

Thanks for getting in touch, and for your appreciative comments. Bob was a one-off, one of the most accomplished musicians that my wife ever worked with. And as a professional opera singer, that encompassed a host of great talent. I first became friends with him in the early 1990s through my hosting KPCC’s “Gee Dad! It’s A Wurlitzer”, and we remained good friends until the end. He was a most warm and genuine gentleman, and completely humble about his own incredible talents.
So the Welk shows are still being repeated? We have a lot of US TV on our IPTV system here in Spain, and PBS is available. I’ll have to see if I can find those reruns.
